Scap Trust

Scap Trust, established in August 1986 and located in Shibuya, Tokyo, was a collaborative venture formed by eight notable Japanese software companies, including Bothtec, Bullet-Proof Software, and Humming Bird Soft. The studio aimed to innovate in the gaming landscape, launching several titles before its eventual bankruptcy around 1991. Key figures in the studio included representatives from its founding companies, who brought diverse expertise to the project.

One of Scap Trust's most recognized projects was "Deep Dungeon," a title that showcased the studio's ambition to create immersive RPG experiences. Although the studio's lifespan was brief, its contributions to the genre were significant, particularly in the realm of dungeon-crawling mechanics and narrative depth.
