À propos

Founded in 2009 by Peter Ong and Ryan Pijai, DreamRift is an independent video game studio based in Orlando, Florida. The studio gained recognition with its debut project, initially titled Project Monster, which evolved into the critically acclaimed Monster Tale, released on March 22, 2011, under Majesco Entertainment. This title garnered one of the highest Metacritic ratings for an original IP on the Nintendo DS that year, marking a significant milestone for the studio.

Key personnel include co-founders Ong and Pijai, with Ong serving as a creative force behind the studio's vision. DreamRift's notable projects include Monster Tale and its 3DS remake, Monster Tale Ultimate, as well as the collaboration on Epic Mickey: Power of Illusion with Disney Interactive Studios.

The studio has influenced the gaming industry through its innovative approach to platforming and storytelling, particularly in the action-adventure genre. DreamRift specializes in creating engaging, family-friendly games that blend traditional gameplay with modern design elements.

Throughout its history, DreamRift has received various accolades for its work, particularly for Monster Tale, which has been praised for its artistic style and gameplay mechanics. However, the studio's status has remained uncertain since 2019, following the departure of co-founder Pijai and the discontinuation of its official website.
